DESCRIPTION

The Cobra MicroTalk CXR825 30-Mile Two-Way Radio is a compact, high-powered GMRS/FRS radio with a maximum transmission range of up to 30 miles. It features a built-in NOAA radio receiver for weather and emergency information. It also features VibrAlert, which notifies you of a call in noisy or all-quiet environments.

The radio is equipped with voice activated transmission as well, which allows you to use your hands for other tasks. The CXR825 has 22 channels and 142 privacy codes (38 CTCSS / 104 DCS). This affords a total of 3124 channel combinations. Each radio comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a two-port desktop charger. Other features include Roger Beep Tone, multiple call tones, a key lock, Auto Squelch, an illuminated LCD screen and more.

  • Scan Feature. Allows the user to scan either channels or privacy codes within a channel to locate conversations in progress
  • Key Lock. When activated, provides key pad security eliminating accidental channel changes
  • 10 Call Tones. Allows the user to differentiate between up to 10 different parties on incoming calls
  • Roger Beep Tone (Selectable). Confirmation tone indicates the completion of the user's transmission, and signals to others it is clear to talk (this feature is selectable and can be turned On or Off)
  • Auto Squelch. Automatically shuts off weak transmissions or unwanted noise due to terrain or range constraints
  • Maximum Range Extender. Overrides Auto Squelch to provide extended range reception
  • Illuminated LCD Screen. The illuminated LCD provides maximum ease of use even at night
  • Keystroke Tone Signal (Selectable On/Off). Selectable feature that confirms key activation (can be turned On and Off)
  • Speaker/Microphone/Charger Jack. Allows use of wall charger, or earphone speaker/microphones (not included) for "hands-free" operation
  • Belt Clip. Secures your MicroTalk radio while on the go
  • Two Lithium-Ion Batteries. Radios include two ultra compact, high-capacity rechargeable lithium-ion batteries
